Today, Chelsea tells us how she started creating personalized gift boxes via her company BOXFOX, her entrepreneurship tips and tricks, and her experience thus far.

How did you get started on your career path?: I started in advertising because I wanted the agency experience. Two short years in, we started BOXFOX because we saw there was a need for an accessible way to connect with people tangentially, in an increasingly online world.
What key elements played into your success?: It's all about vision. We know where we want to take BOXFOX, and that helps us stay focused.
What struggles did you face getting to this point?: Scaling is difficult. It's important for us to stay true to who we are as we grow, and that's something we have to think about daily.
Who was the biggest influence in your professional life?: My family. My parents are my biggest champions, and both of my co-founders and I are hell-bent on creating a longstanding family business.
When do you feel most successful?: When both our customers and our employees are happy.
What’s the best piece of advice you received?: Don't take no for an answer.
What advice would you give to women looking to enter your industry/space?: Be ready to work 12 times harder than you can even fathom.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?: We're growing, and this may seem small because it's in the past now, but when all three of us founders became paid, full-time employees is one of my happiest, proudest memories to date.
